Qualitative digital solutions with low-code development
The Challenge
UCB's IT team faced the challenge of managing all development requests from their internal business departments. With a growing volume of requests, an urgent need for alternative development methods that takes less time had emerged.
To meet this challenge, UCB was looking for an efficient, future-proof solution within the existing IT framework, which they found in low-code development by means of the Microsoft Power Platform. By adopting this innovative approach and technology, development processes are optimized and are able to continue to meet growing demands.
The Solution
Qubix supported the start-up of the use of low-code development. Together with UCB's enterprise architects and development teams, the framework was set up and the outlines were drawn. Several projects were developed. An example project is a canvas app for a virtual guided tour of the UCB Belgian headquarter. The low-code approach enabled rapid development and ensured swift implementation and adaptability to changing requirements.
By providing UCB with this low-code development alternative, more project requests from the business departments could be handled and executed in a shorter timeframe while maintaining the quality of the project deliverables.
